16 Off Shore in Palmetto Dunes is a single-level Lowcountry home located just a 10-minute walk to the beach and features a private pool, sunroom and large outdoor space.

As you enter the home, you'll find the spacious living area featuring a 50" Smart TV, comfortable furnishings and a separate sitting area with a sleeper sofa.

Through the living area you'll find the kitchen and dining area. This home also has a sunroom with additional dining space, as well as a futon.

To the right of the front door, you'll find the main bedroom with a king-size bed, flat screen TV and private bathroom with a walk-in shower, soaking tub and two vanity areas. The 2nd guest bedroom is also located on this side of the home. It features a king bed, flat-screen TV and a private renovated bathroom with a walk-in shower.

The third guest bedroom is located on the left side of the home and has a queen bed, twin bunk beds, flat-screen TV and a private renovated bathroom with a tub/shower combination.

Guests have plenty of space to soak up the sun with a large back deck area, propane grill and sparkling pool. *(The pool can be heated for an additional cost.)

This house was beautiful, tons of natural light and space to spread out! Even though we had tons of rain, we still had an amazing trip. Hosts were so responsive and made check in/out easy :) would definitely book again!

The stay was very good overall. There was plenty of room for our family to relax and not feel like we were all on top of each other. The pool was used very often by our family as well as the deck space for playing games and relaxing.

I spent about 6 days at this property and I very much like it. It was fully equipped with everything I needed and it was very nice inside and out. The location is wonderful and I would highly recommend this property to other renters.

We Always Love Our Stay! Great Home for Families!

We have stayed at 16 Off Shore multiple times, Our most recent stay was in August 2023. I love coming back to this property year after year. First we love Palmetto Dunes. All properties in Palmetto Dunes have beach access that extends the full length of the resort. We always rent bikes and we ride our bikes all week along the bike trails to the beach, the general store and there is a safe path that goes under the road to get to Shelter Cove.. Only those staying in a Pametto Dunes Property are allowed access to the resort, so it is never too busy and we can always get beach parking, when we are not taking our bikes. The Palmetto Dunes resort if full of palm trees and live oaks with Spanish moss, it is just beautiful! Now for the house. The house is very comfortable. When you walk in there is a large living room that has a sun room off of it with access to the private pool. Also off the living room is a king master bedroom with an on-suite bathroom that has a standup shower, a separate soaking tube and 2 vanities. Off the Master Bedroom you also have a slider with access to the private pool. Also off the living room is a queen bedroom with an on-suite full bath with a shower/tub combo. This on-suite bathroom also has an entrance into the living room and the bedroom. The living room is big and comfortable with a smart TV. Off the living room on the other side, is the large eat-in kitchen. The kitchen has all supplies you need, a desk area, bar area and large kitchen table. The kitchen also has a slider to the sunroom and a hall that connects it to the laundry room another full bath and the third bedroom. The third bedroom has a double bed and twin bunk beds. My kids always stay in this room and like that they have their own space and bathroom. We often have my mother join us and she likes the queen room or even the futon in the sunroom. We love the private pool! It is the perfect size and very private. We have been at the house in April and the option to heat the pool was ideal and the cost to heat the pool is so much less then other rentals I have seen. The location of the house is ideal. It is in a quite area and the bike ride to beach access is 5 minutes. We always take advantage of the Hilton Head shore beach service and we rent umbrella and chairs for the whole week (https://www.shorebeach.com/). They set them up and take them down everyday of your vacation. You just tell them what beach access area you are using. We often use the Disney Vacation Club beach access. There is a large parking lot open to everyone and there is a bathroom and outdoor showers for all guest. There is an entrance only for Disney resort guests,, but everyone can use the parking lot and the public bathrooms. The rental has some beach chairs, sometimes there are boogie boards and it always has sand toys, so we often don't need to buy them. It is a fun, relaxing week, we love Hilton Head, We love Palmetto Dunes and 16 Off Shore is the perfect place to call home for the week for my family of 5 and often a grandparent or 2. Great house in a great location for a great price, especially considering the house has a private pool. It is also clean and the owner Cynthia makes sure it is well serviced by the pool people, the landscaping people and the pest people. If you ever have an issue come up, Cynthia always makes sure it is taken care of right away. For these many reasons we come back year after year.

Renter

This is our 5th stay at Cynthia's home. We enjoy the home very much. Lots of space if you have a large family. Easy 10 minute walk to beach. We walk a lot and feel very safe anywhere we go in this complex (palmetto dunes) which is huge. We try to come back to Hilton Head every winter and would love to book this home every winter if possible.
