Biking on Hilton Head

In 2011, the League of American Bicyclists awarded The Town of Hilton Head the coveted Bicycle Friendly community award at the silver level.   Hilton Head Island boasts 60 miles of public pathways and nature trails on which pedestrians and cyclists can enjoy the spectacularly diverse attractions of this beautiful island. In addition, there are more than 50 miles of pathways and shared roadways within each of the private developments located on the island. These private pathways are for the use of residents and renters of the respective communities and their guests. Please contact us if you have questions regarding the policy on entering and exiting these communities.
