Relaxing Weekend Getaway
My husband and I had a fantastic weekend staying at port tack 50. Bicycle rentals were right in the neighborhood and that's all we needed to get everywhere from the beach to the grocery store. The screened porch was extremely inviting and comfortable… the perfect place to read a book and take an afternoon nap!

Great location
This house is in the perfect location. It is in a less traveled area so there is not a lot of traffic noise. It is an easy 5 minute ride to the beach or to the Kroger across William Hilton parkway. The canal in the back is soothing to listen to the water from the fountain further up the canal. My favorite spot is the screened porch. The ceiling fan keeps it cool and the view is spectacular. There is a nice outdoor shower behind the kitchen to wash off after a trip to the beach. The driveway could easily accommodate 4 vehicles. We have always chosen Palmetto Dunes for our vacations for its central location. This house is definitely fits that description and this will be our Hilton Head destination for all future trips

This home is beautiful and in a great location. We enjoyed bike rides to local attractions and the beach. Can't wait to visit again!

We had a great time. Best property our family has rented. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. Super clean and cozy. Everything needed to cook meals daily. The pool was great and we enjoyed spending time there when we weren’t at the beach. The games and puzzles were a great addition to have on the days it rained.

Lovely!
This place is amazing. Very relaxing retreat where we bicycled everywhere! Great eats and beach so closeby that we truly could relax and unwind from life. Loved the pool and the ping-pong table - lots of fun and laughs. Also, don't underestimate the screened porch with a comfy couch. We fell asleep to the sound of the wind in the trees. Highly recommend Port Tack 50!

Perfect location!
This place is perfectly located in quiet Palmetto Dunes. Pickleball, beach and great food and grocery store is all a bike ride away - we didn't start our car the whole week. The house is spacious and very comfortable - great sized bedrooms with very comfy mattresses. Very clean as well. Nice screened in room is perfect for morning coffee and reading to afternoon relaxing. We highly recommend this place - you will not be disappointed!

Perfect family vacation
I Loved it. Kids loved it. Clean family home that felt wonderful from the moment we arrived. Beautiful views and lovely place in Palmetto Dunes. Tennis, pickle ball, beach, shopping, bicycling, etc. all close by. Loved the bunk beds and kids absolutely felt at home. I love how things were labeled in the kitchen! Big screen TVs. Private home with no road noise and close to the grocery store and the local Starbucks. Kids didn’t want to leave and definitely want to come back soon. 50 Port Tack is a great place to stay.

Southern Comfort
This home is in one of Hilton Head's best locations. It is both soothing and fun to stay here and it definitely calls for return visits.

Senior Engineering Manager
Relaxing, quiet location in beautiful Palmetto Dunes. We basically loved riding our bikes to everywhere but the awesome local golf courses. We found a "secret" bike exit from the neighborhood that pops out near the underpass which we used for Starbucks runs, Guiseppe's (sp?), and a beautiful sunset dinner with live music at San Miguel's in Shelter Cove. On the warmer day's we loved the pool. The gurgling fountains in a private setting was very relaxing. Sitting at the dining room table for some breakfasts and lunches it was amazing to see some of the wildlife in the back yard. Deer walked by nearly every day. Large birds use the lagoon in the back yard as a flight path for take-offs and landings. An Osprey spent some time fishing high in the trees. The screened porch was a great place to read a book in the shade, have a morning coffee and catch up on the daily news with the TV there. We started watching a TV mini series so every night there was 7 family members gathered in the living room. It was nice have enough comfortable seating with 2 full size couches and 2 chairs. Pop corn from the kitchen and batches of Margaritas from the Margaritaville concoction machine on the bar made our movie nights special. The bedrooms were nicely decorated and very quiet and comfortable. One couple took advantage of the extra beds with the wife taking it and a box fan separate from a snoring husband! We had a great family vacation! The house in particular and HHI in general were big parts of the memories we made.
